Simply sound sleep 🛌 has returned. It took a few days for my body to feel rested again.
When we’re forced to function on a critically low fuel tank, ⛽ our body does what it can to manage available resources.
If you’ll take just a moment to think about all the systems that are currently at work keeping you alive, it might have you wanting to give yourself a pat on the back.
Go ahead! You … and your body … deserve it.
When our sleep is disturbed and our bodies’ time for rest is cut short, repair and maintenance are delayed, deferred … diminished.
It’s like the pothole in the road left untended … it grows bigger. 🚧
And can cause real damage to an unsuspecting traveler. 🚖
When our bodies aren’t well-maintained (which requires rest) symptoms start to accumulate. Remember … symptoms are clues.
By the time we notice a symptom, the problem has been around for a while. Our body just reached a point where it could no longer manage it with all of its other competing priorities.
It has to keep our heart ❤️ and lungs working to circulate blood. That alone is a big job!
Sleep is nonnegotiable … and a natural process. Medication of any sort should not be required to encourage it to happen!
If you’re one of the millions of people who struggle with sleep disturbance, let’s put that to rest! Pun intended. ✅
