We are on our way home from a 3-week adventure to Latin America. Tonight I will sleep in my own bed.
And return “Elsa … the magical chewy ice maker” to service.
AHHHH!
This was a trip we had not prioritized … even though it had been on the “bucket list” 📝 for many years. I’m elated that current events in the US prompted me to finally make it happen.
I love to travel. It’s (mostly) eustress … the good stress that creates growth.
Mental. Physical. Emotional. Spiritual.
It’s amazing how something as trivial as finding our familiar and favorite gluten-free pasta in the grocery store … in a land far far away … warms the heart.
And, I will admit to falling prey to a Starbucks whenever I was fortunate enough to find one. I don’t drink coffee but I LOVE their shaken iced green tea.
Tomorrow I will get back to the familiar routine … but the memories we made from the last few weeks will bring a smile to my face regularly.
YES … even the memories of stressful travel-related situations … like the bus 🚏 that was packed to the gills and kept stopping to pick up more passengers.
It became comical at a certain point. And, what I will remember is laughing until I cried.😅
Travel produces happy brain chemicals. That starts when you begin planning.
It truly is a SMALL small world.
In my MOLT Membership, we manufacture happiness … which transforms stress.
So, what are you waiting for?
