It’s been almost 3 weeks since I injured my 4th metatarsal … my toe.
The toes are involved in every step we make. As I tried to avoid using that toe, I created other misalignments.
Most people can relate having experienced some injury over their lifetime. What started as a mishap created a bigger problem.
Wanting to “walk my talk” … especially in a challenging situation like this … I’ve avoided using any pain relievers. I know numbing the pain would just allow me to continue injuring it … prolonging the recovery period.
So, it was a mental wrestling match this week when I found myself unable to sleep. The nerve that goes from the spine to that toe was so aggravated that my whole leg hurt.
I understand the anatomy. In this case, my L5 dermatome is the source of the pain. And, the root cause was a chair leg that collided with my toe.
There wasn’t much more information I needed to justify suppressing the symptom so that I could get some sleep.
YES! There are times when using a pain reliever makes sense. This was one of those times!
My toe has improved significantly this week … thanks to my …
Body’s innate ability to heal itself
Avoidance of pain relievers (for the most part)
Treatment protocol
Herbs and microcurrent are part of every protocol I create … whether it’s for myself or someone else.
We’re all busy. Who has time for a bunch of trips to the doctors’ office … mine included.
Treatment has to be portable and easy or it won’t be effective … because it won’t be used. That’s why I developed a process that is accessible anywhere it’s needed.
Recently, I put it to the test myself … and it passed!
