Many women come into my clinic complaining of …
Weight Gain
Insomnia
Aches and Pains
… along with some other accompanying symptoms.
I’m rarely their first stop. They’ve been to several other doctors that have run a battery of tests.
If they have been given a diagnosis, it’s often low thyroid … or other hormones.
One in three are on thyroid or other hormone replacement medication.
Seriously??!!
The only solution the medical community has for women transitioning through menopause is medication to replace something that’s irreplaceable!
You read that right.
Hormone replacement therapy is not a satisfactory replacement for our body’s naturally produced hormones … even if you use bioidentical medication.
Think … for a moment …
Do we really believe that we can mimic the intricate process that the human body uses to produce hormones in just the right quantity and sequence to signal the cascade of events required to make everything work properly?
Mind-boggling – right??!!
I often say, “Menopause is the bookend to puberty. If you wouldn’t ‘jack’ with a young person’s hormones to ease the transition through puberty, why would you do that with a mature person going through menopause?”
If the symptoms of menopause are unmanageable, it’s because your body is under too much stress … typically from a buildup of toxicity.
Medication just adds to the problem.
The solution is to reduce the toxic stressors. This solves problems that haven’t even been identified … yet.
The first step is to determine the types of toxicity that your body is struggling to manage. I developed my Metabolic Energy System Assessment as an easy way to do that. You can get started right HERE.
