A friend passed away last weekend after a 2 year adventure with cancer. He was the same age as my mom when she experienced the same fate.

So, I have been thinking this week about so many that have had their life interrupted by disease. You probably have a list of people youโ€™ve cared about that this message brings to mind.

A couple of days ago, it was Halloween. More importantly, the days that followed were known as Dia De Muertos โ€ฆ Day of the Dead.

In the latin traditions, the dead are celebrated at this time of the year when itโ€™s believed that the veil between the worlds is thin.

While it felt challenging at first to avoid focusing on the sadness and grief, I eventually found my way to recalling happy memories and times they were full of life.

Life should be celebrated.

As humans, itโ€™s better to do that while weโ€™re in the land of the living. But celebration can happen even if thereโ€™s more separation.

If youโ€™d like some help creating mindset shifts like Iโ€™m describing here, I have several tools that Iโ€™ve included in the MOLT Methodโ„ข I developed.

Managing our mindset is one of the most important things we can do to reduce stress. And, stress creates 90+% of disease.

So, keeping stress in check allows us to have adventures that are much more fun than cancer.

Thatโ€™s something we can all agree on. Right??!!
