When I ask women what they’ve tried to relieve their symptoms, it’s common to hear a list of extreme diets.
Low calorie
High protein
Gluten free
Low carb
High fat
Sugar free
Any extreme diet tends to work initially for several reasons, but it rarely works long-term. And, it often creates additional stress that turns toxic.
For example:
Low calorie diets destroy your metabolism. It’s a race to the bottom that can’t be won.
High protein diets often recommend using dairy products … that aggravate the immune system for most women. And, while protein is critical, it must be used appropriately.
Gluten free diets tend to result in using alternative grains that were not meant to be used for baked goods. They may even have 2 to 3 times the yeast content.
Low carb diets typically create a dependency on processed foods … or too much protein.
High fat diets can create a lot of stress for the liver and gallbladder. Most women already have a stressed liver … maybe even “fatty liver.”
Sugar free diets may suggest turning to alternative or artificial sweeteners. These are chemical toxins in your body.
Most of the time when we adopt elimination or extreme diets, one evil is traded for another.
My approach is different. We use swaps that are satisfying, but still get the job done. Or moderate when necessary.
If you think you’re eating a healthy diet, but you’re not seeing results that match your effort … you need to take a different approach.
I suggest that you initiate a Human Energy System Reboot using my 7 Ways and 5 Plays to significantly reduce the level of toxicity that your body is trying to manage.
A Reboot will reduce internal and external stress. And, when you reduce stress, everything works better.
