When I was a little girl, one of my favorite rides at Disneyland π° was βItβs A Small World.β Some thought it was a bit kitschy, but I loved the colorful costumes, the music β¦
β¦ and the window it offered into cultures around the globe.
Later, as I grew up, I found myself just as enchanted by Epcot Center at Disney World for many of the same reasons.
This week, Iβve been sailing through the Baltic countries β¦ visiting places Iβd never been before. Each stop offers a taste of the local flavor π, a glimpse into a different way of life.Β
And it reminds me just how expansive this world really is β¦ even as it feels intimately connected.
A friend I met through cruising recently lost her home in the Los Angeles fires. Devastating, of course β¦
β¦ but in the aftermath, she made a bold decision.
Move to the south of France!
It was a place she first discovered on a cruise years ago β¦ and the memory drew her back repeatedly β¦
β¦ quietly inviting her into something new. And now she had the opportunity.
Not every opportunity shows up wrapped in delight. Some arrive as detours, losses, or discomfort π£.Β
But if we stay open β¦
β¦ if we allow life to coax us forward, we might find ourselves in a place more beautiful than we ever imagined.
Whether youβre navigating stress, a change in health, or simply the quiet urge that says βthereβs more,β remember this.
Growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone.
And joy? Thatβs often just around the bend β¦
β¦ if weβre willing to explore.
We are focused on personal growth and consciously creating happiness β¦Β π
Hereβs to the small world moments β¦ and the big shifts they can bring.
