When I was a little girl, one of my favorite rides at Disneyland 🏰 was “It’s A Small World.” Some thought it was a bit kitschy, but I loved the colorful costumes, the music …

… and the window it offered into cultures around the globe.

Later, as I grew up, I found myself just as enchanted by Epcot Center at Disney World for many of the same reasons.

This week, I’ve been sailing through the Baltic countries … visiting places I’d never been before. Each stop offers a taste of the local flavor 😋, a glimpse into a different way of life.

And it reminds me just how expansive this world really is … even as it feels intimately connected.

A friend I met through cruising recently lost her home in the Los Angeles fires. Devastating, of course …

… but in the aftermath, she made a bold decision.

Move to the south of France!

It was a place she first discovered on a cruise years ago … and the memory drew her back repeatedly …

… quietly inviting her into something new. And now she had the opportunity.

Not every opportunity shows up wrapped in delight. Some arrive as detours, losses, or discomfort 😣.

But if we stay open …

… if we allow life to coax us forward, we might find ourselves in a place more beautiful than we ever imagined.

Whether you’re navigating stress, a change in health, or simply the quiet urge that says “there’s more,” remember this.

And joy? That’s often just around the bend …

… if we’re willing to explore.

Here’s to the small world moments … and the big shifts they can bring.
