This was the first week that I really felt the shifting season … ⛱️ summer is inching closer every day.

I ALSO noticed that the air seemed heavy with pollen that tends to aggravate our sinuses and generally has patients reaching for some symptom reliever.

Just when we thought allergy season was behind us! 🤦‍♀️

🙋‍♀️ I struggle with chronic sinus issues too. So, I feel your pain … but I know better than to use medication or even natural supplements to interrupt my body’s natural process of clearing toxins.

You were probably hoping I would tell you to take some magic potion to put yourself out of your misery.

While I do understand that managing symptoms is the goal, I prefer to manage symptoms in a way that gives us a good chance of getting to the root cause of the problem …

so that symptoms don’t have to be managed forever.

What can you do to provide some symptom relief?

  • Eliminate as many known immune system stressors as possible … including foods you’re sensitive to.
  • Keep the environments you control clean … removing dust often.
  • Encourage your respiratory system to clear toxins … even if that means blowing your nose often or using steam.

The risks associated with aggressively drying up your body’s mucous production are simply too great. Just say NO!

Before you know it, your seasonal allergies will pass and your immune system will be stronger from the challenge.
